Every competitor who participates in the Atacama Race, as a national or international event, must be the holder of a sports license issued by their National Federation (FMN/ADN).
In the Motorcycles and Quads category
The competitor participating in the motorcycle and Quad category must have a license issued by his National Motorcycle Federation (FMN) or possess an international FIM license through his National Federation (FMN).
Competitors who have a valid international annual license do not need to obtain a new license to compete in Atacama Race 2025.
In order to participate, it is mandatory to have personal accident insurance, which will be required during administrative checks.
In the Cars and SxS category
Every national and international competitor must have a sports license issued by their National Federation (ADN).
Authorization Letter Issued by your Federation for All Categories
According to the provisions of article 3.9 of the CDI – FIA, international competitors must have a letter of authorization from their National Federation to participate in the Atacama Race 2025 (in all categories) to be held in Chile between June 6 and 11, 2025.
This letter will be required by the respective commissioners on the day of the administrative checks along with your sports license and driver's license.
For your safety we recommend that you send this letter to the sports secretary of the race at the following email address: info@atacamarace.com
National competitors do not need this letter, since the National Federations provide the list of competitors in advance. However, they must present their sports license and driver's license at the administrative checks.
